This hotel is located right in the heart of the Marais, one of the most exciting districts in Paris and easy walking distance to the Ile de la Cite and to the left bank. Considering its location the hotel is great value for money and the room we had for four nights was neat, tidy, clean and well serviced. If you are looking for an affordable stay right in the heart of the city it would be hard to beat.
The breakfasts are poor but there are plenty of options including a cafe right oposite.

Only the location was perfect. 5 minutes walk to the metro station. Very close to the most important monuments of Paris. Very comfortable for the transportation to and from the airport. The neighbourhood was also very lively, full of cafes, supermarkets next to the hotel, backeries and restaurants open until late!
The room was very very small!! We were two people with two luggages and we couldn't even move! My boyfriend had to bend in order to have a shower! The first moment we got into the room we found a spider on the wall!! Moreover it hadn't any lamp on the ceiling! The first morning the maid tried to enter the room while we were sleeping!

It was close to a metro station - easy to find when we arrived in Paris.
It was extremely noisy at night, reviews had mentioned this but I was not expecting the level of noise experienced - it went on for most of the night which made sleeping very difficult!

Had an excellent stay.
The provided service was good. The breakfast with yoghurts and coffee in the cafe across the street, for instance was satisfactory, and the majority of the staff were incredible😃😃🙂

I liked the location of le compostelle, roughly a three minute walk to notre dame church. This was absolutely amazing.
One of the front staff persons was incredibly rude, condescending and unhelpful. An older female staff member. The young gentlemen and other female staff emebers were perfectly pleasant but the one lady who happened to be working the front desk when we checked in was terrible. For this reason, my stay was less enjoyable than it could have been

It is located in a good area, very close to the City Hall.
Everything looks poor and miserable.

The lady who everybody mention as evil, was so nice to us and she speaks english very well. Yes, it's a bit noisy around the hotel, but all you have to do is to close the windows, otherwise don't stay in the center. Rooms are small but sweet, and who cares about rooms when you come to Paris? Maybe it's a bit expensive, but that's the Paris, you can always go somewhere else to spend less money.
